Festival

The Queen of Peace Festival has been an important parish function since the parish was formed in the 1940s. Its primary goal was, and still is to provide needed funding to assist in supporting parish activities and the school. Currently, the festival contributes approximately $55,000.00 annually to the parish operating funds. The activities at the current festival are very much the same as they were years ago. We still have our famous chicken dinner, kids' games and rides, and various other booths that parishioners and visitors can enjoy. The festival also serves another, very important, secondary function that is not found on the agenda lists or in meeting minutes. That function is parishioner involvement. It is one function where the entire church community comes together to work as one. Everyone is asked to give to support our parish festival.
